Klondike Kate’s has the best casual banquet accommodations in Newark! We offer a wide variety of menu options, but allow you to create your own unique gathering. From Rehearsal Dinners and Showers to Corporate functions and Happy Hours, Klondike Kate’s Upstairs is the perfect escape from the ordinary. We accommodate groups from 20 up to 125 people! With two banquet rooms to choose from, Klondike Kate’s offers the perfect party venues for unforgettable celebrations.

The Rockwell Room

Visit our New Addition! The Rockwell Room. Deriving its nomenclature from Kate Rockwell, (Klondike Kate's namesake), The Rockwell Room is a newly constructed banquet and dining facility.

Situated on the second floor, this newly renovated facility features rich burgundy walls set in exquisite Victorian architecture. Whether it's the casual private dining experience or the formality of fine dining you're after, the Rockwell Room's lovely design and décor will suit your needs. This banquet facility is offered to parties of up to 25 people for buffets and 35 people for served dinner events.
The room is equipped with a 50-inch HDTV, audio hook ups for iPod or laptops and various other musical outputs.

Kate’s Classic Cuisine

We offer a wide variety of menu options, but allow you to create your own unique gathering. You can choose a Buffet Styled event, Served Dinner Event or simply order a la carte. Your event coordinator can help you create your perfect buffet line up, catering to your specific budget. We also cater to food allergies and can offer gluten-free options. Tastings are also available upon requests! And as always, ideas and suggestions are always welcomed!

Catering

We Can "Cater" Your Every Need! Can't make it into Kate's? Have it catered! Klondike Kate's would love to cater your next event from business luncheons to family gatherings! We will even deliver it to you on the spot! No minimums required!

Room Arrangements

There is a $50 Room Fee which allows you up to 4 hours for use of either facility. The Room Fee includes use of all Klondike Kate’s amenities including a wide variety of colored linens, votive candles and tableware necessities. The room holds a 100 inch Projection Screen and two, 50 inch plasmas both equipped with laptop and DVD capabilities for that memorable/embarrassing slide show! Located on the 2nd Floor, the dining room contains a full bar, a stage for bands or DJs, and restrooms.

Bar Arrangements

Bar arrangements can be made up by the host with choosing either Cash, Open or No bar option that will cater to their specific event. There is a one time $35 Bartender Fee applied to the final bill if there is an occasion which requires one. Your banquet coordinator can help to cater to your budget.

Free Parking!

At Kate’s, Parking is ALWAYS validated! The lot is right out back-the entrance is right before Panera Bread on Main Street.  We can validate up to 3 hours per voucher.

Decorations

Klondike Kate’s is happy to assist you with special arrangements for linens, decorations, floral services, specialty cakes or audio/ visual equipment. The room may be decorated prior to the event and your event coordinator can assist you in setting up a time to decorate. The sky is the limit when it comes to decorations- even confetti is welcome! Remember, it’s YOUR party and we’re here to see YOUR vision through! Please ask your event coordinator for other helpful decorating tips!

Special Services

Klondike Kate’s has been newly equipped with iPod and Wii capabilities. Whether you would like to listen to your favorite playlist or play Wii Bowling, we can help you entertain your guests!
